Protesters in Ottawa rallied both for and against Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s proposed changes that would block the use of puberty blockers or hormone therapy for those 15 and under unless they’ve already begun the process.
She also plans to ban gender-affirming surgeries for people under the age of 18.
