Agnes of Montepulciano, also known as Agnes of Montevecchio, was born in 1268 in Gracciano, near Montepulciano, Italy.
At the age of nine, she entered the convent of Montepulciano, where she received her education and grew in holiness under the guidance of the Dominican nuns.
