Midway through the third quarter, the Cats led by a seemingly unassailable 54 points. The match turned on its head in the last quarter. West Coast shocked Geelong fans, kicking six unanswered goals. Nathan Ablett put the Cats back in front late, but Adam Hunter riposted with his second of the term and West Coast completed the greatest comeback in the club’s history.
