From the Archives, 1997: Hanson hysteria grips Southland

25 years ago, more than 20,000 hysterical fans were in pop heaven when the band Hanson performed a short but spirited set at Southland Shopping Centre. 48 fans were treated by paramedics at the scene and two were hospitalised in the frenzy.
