Alice Queen to discuss copper-gold prospects at Proactive CEO Sessions

Alice Queen Ltd (ASX:AQX) has an exploration focus at Horn Island in North Queensland and at its Northern Molong Projects in New South Wales. The company commenced its 2020 exploration programs with drilling underway at both Horn Island and at Yarindury within the Northern Molong Projects. At Horn Island, ASX gold producer St Barbara Ltd (ASX:SBM) is continuing to earn into the joint venture (JV) through exploration for large-scale gold mineralisation. Alice Queen is also managing a parallel process to progress the areas excluded from the JV towards a production decision. The Northern Molong Projects comprise Mendooran North, Mendooran, Mendooran South, and Yarindury. The projects are in an area known to host largescale mineral bodies and Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK) Boda discovery is 700 metres from Alice Queen’s boundary. In September 2019 Alkane drilled 502 metres at 0.48 g/t gold and 0.20% copper. Proactive caught up with Alice Queen in December 2019 to discuss drilling plans at Yarindury.
