How Charlotte's Atrium Health is prepping for more coronavirus patients

Charlotte-based Atrium Health is prepping now for the potential influx of patients as the novel coronavirus spreads. The coronavirus, or COVID-19, was first detected in Wuhan, China, in December. The World Health Organization has since declared a pandemic, as the virus spreads across multiple continents. North Carolina had 17 confirmed cases as of Friday.
