With economic integration pledge, Merkel seeks to defuse ECB time-bomb

Germany will act wisely in response to a court ruling targeting the European Central Bank's flagship stimulus programme and use the decision as impetus to drive closer euro zone economic policy coordination, Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday.
