ImagineAR Inc (CSE:IP) (OTCQB:IPNFF) is partnering with the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh to teach an online course about augmented reality in the workplace.  During the course, students will work in teams to identify ways to apply augmented and virtual reality to a real business and design a branding campaign. At the end, students will present a 10-minute video showcasing their ideas. The class, titled “Augmented and Virtual Reality for Brands and Strategy” and taught by marketing professor Vanitha Swaminathan, will be made initially available to graduate students and eventually to undergraduates in the College of Business Administration. Katz Graduate School of Business is a real testament to ImagineAR,” CEO Alen Paul Silverrstieen said in a statement. “The school has identified ImagineAR as an industry leader and AR as an enormous opportunity for brands to engage customers during these times where traditional methods would not suffice. I look forward to working with professor Swaminathan on this revolutionary course work." The course will also tie into a competition within the business school, the Katz Augmented Reality Case Competition (ARCC), which will be co-sponsored by ImagineAR. Katz graduate students will compete in teams of four to deliver futuristic and creative ideas for how products and brands can become more innovative.  This is particularly important given the current coronavirus pandemic, according to Swaminathan. "The offering of this course is extremely unique and timely," he said. "The current health crisis has required marketers to be even more creative in how to engage fans and customers. Augmented and virtual reality tools will provide new, creative ways of engaging with customers during this challenging period of social distancing."
