GST Coucil meet ends without any consensus: Key pts

The GST Council on Monday ended without reaching any consensus. The meeting -- chaired by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman -- was a continuation of the 42nd GST Council meet held last week. Addressing the media after the meeting, Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the there is no option for Centre to borrow and states need to do so to meet the GST shortfall.
