Tempus Resources Ltd (ASX:TMR) (FRA:4W0) is set to start drilling at the Elizabeth sector of Blackdome-Elizabeth Gold Project in southwestern British Columbia, Canada, after receiving final approval.  The gold explorer received the multi-year area-based permit of work, which authorises exploration activity, including drilling for up to five years, from the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources. Drill rig on site It has a drill rig on site ready to commence the program in the coming days. Tempus managing director Brendan Borg said: “We have very much been looking forward to receiving this key approval to allow drilling to commence at Elizabeth and are appreciative of the support received from the local First Nations communities for exploration to proceed at the project.” Focus on high-priority Southwest Vein Initial focus is on the high-priority Southwest Vein, where the majority of the historical mineral resource is located. The drilling program will focus on verification and extension along strike and at depth to the historical NI43-101 mineral resources at Elizabeth. It will allow the company to prepare updated JORC 2012 and NI43-101 compliant estimates, expected to be published in March 2021, once all data has been received and modelled. The Elizabeth sector of the Blackdome-Elizabeth Project hosts a historic NI43-101 inferred mineral resource of 522,843 tonnes grading 12.26 g/t gold, for 206,139 ounces of contained gold. Blackdome sector final assays Tempus added that the resource modelling process for the Blackdome sector had commenced, with receipt of final data and reporting for that part of the project expected in the coming days.
