Seattle hospitals begin administering Pfizer, Moderna vaccines to staff

As Covid-19 vaccines roll out around the country, Puget Sound-area hospitals are preparing to vaccinate thousands. Since many local hospitals have received only a few thousand doses, their initial priority is to inoculate high-risk health care workers. The first vaccine made available for emergency use is from Pfizer, of which around 64,000 doses were delivered to the Puget Sound area on Dec. 14.
