Billionaires Recovered From COVID Pandemic, Recovery For Poor May Take A Decade: Report

The world's top 1,000 billionaires recovered from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, but it will take at least a decade for the poorest to recoup, Oxfam International says in a study it conducted recently. The immediate effect of the pandemic could be that it will increase economic inequality in almost every country, the U.K.-based major nonprofit group said in its annual inequality report.
