Musgrave Minerals Ltd (ASX:MGV) (FRA:6MU) has reported strong reverse circulation (RC) assay results from the newly discovered White Heat prospect on its 100%-owned ground at its flagship Cue Gold Project in Western Australia’s Murchison district.  Mineralisation remains open in all directions with nine RC drill holes completed to date and further assays pending.  RC drilling is continuing at White Heat Prospect. Great result from first four holes Musgrave managing director Rob Waugh said: “This is a great result from the first four RC holes at the new White Heat prospect and demonstrates the exploration upside of the tenement package. “The gold is high-grade and near-surface but masked from previous explorers by 2-3 metres of transported hardpan clays. “Drilling is ongoing at White Heat which is only 400 metres south of the new Starlight lode.” White Heat Prospect Initial RC drilling at White Heat has identified high-grade gold in two basement zones. Two zones of gold mineralisation are interpreted from early drilling with both zones open along strike and at depth. Significant intercepts from 1m individual samples include: ➢6 metres at 15.3 g/t gold from 38 metres including • 3 metres at 28.8 g/t from 38 metres ➢9 metres at 7.1 g/t from 60 metres including • 2 metres at 28.7 g/t from 60 metres and ➢4 metres at 43.2 g/t from 98 metres including; • 2 metres at 83.9 g/t from 98 metres ➢6 metres at 7.4 g/t from 35 metres including; • 2 metres at 18.8 g/t from 35 metres ➢5 metres at 8.8 g/t from 40 metres Similar to Starlight lode The mineralisation has a similar orientation to the Starlight lode and is hosted within a basalt package thought to be the same stratigraphy as that hosting Starlight. The mineralisation is currently open along strike and at depth with further drilling underway. The regional air core drilling program that identified White Heat has also identified high-grade gold at five other targets. These targets will also be tested with RC drilling during the current program. Ongoing Activities The ongoing activities at its Musgrave 100% tenements include: RC drilling at the White Heat target to follow-up high-grade drill results. Nine holes have been completed to date with further assay results expected in mid-late February; RC follow-up drilling to define the basement source of gold anomalies at targets 14 and 15 has commenced with first results expected in early March; RC drilling at Targets 5, 17 and 20 is planned to commence within two weeks; A large regional air core drilling program to define the extent of gold anomalism over existing targets is scheduled to commence in early March; and Work for the pre-feasibility study at Break of Day and Lena is underway
