S&P/ASX 200 (INDEXASX:XJO) has bounced back from yesterday’s losses, with the index up 1.04% to 6,836 by about 1.43 pm. Local stocks are gaining for the fourth time in five days and are up ~3.5% this week. “Many moving parts to recovery” Reserve Bank Governor Philip Lowe was answering questions from a House of Representatives committee for economics today morning on the broader outlook for Australia and post-COVID-19 economic recovery. Dr Lowe explained there are many moving parts to the recovery and said border shutdowns are affecting the tourism and education sectors and are likely to for some time.
