Bezos fund to open second location in planned network of free preschools

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announced Friday that his Day 1 Academies Fund will open a Montessori-inspired preschool in Tacoma, Washington. The full-scholarship Bezos Academy will open in summer or fall at Tacoma’s McCarver Elementary School and serve 80 children between the ages of 3 and 5, according to the school's website.
