As the vaccination push in North Carolina continues, the state could see most of its Covid-19 restrictions lifted by summer, Gov. Roy Cooper said on Wednesday. During a press briefing, Cooper said that given the current rate of vaccinations, and the fact that the state has not seen a sharp increase in new daily cases of Covid-19, he anticipates that social-distancing, capacity and mass-gathering restrictions will be lifted completely by June 1.
