Pantoro Ltd’s (ASX:PNR) (FRA:RKN) infill and extensional drilling has extended the Lord Percy deposit, part of Maybell Mining Centre at the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia, with results up to 4.5 metres at 159 g/t gold. The drilling program was designed to convert existing inferred mineral resources at Lord Percy to ore reserve status with the mineralisation remaining shallow from surface to 80 metres below surface. A zone of very high-grade mineralisation has been identified with results including: 8.7 metres at 83.27 g/t gold from 22.3 metres, including 4.5 metres at 159.45 g/t from 25.3 metres; 14 metres at 17.36 g/t from 19 metres, including 8 metres at 29.55 g/t from 20 metres; 3 metres at 7.79 g/t from 79 metres; and 4 metres 5.51 g/t from 89 metres, including 1-metre at 21.3 g/t from 92 metres.  Potential for Maybell to grow  Managing director Paul Cmrlec said: “The Maybell Mining Centre forms part of the phase-one DFS for Norseman and further development of the Lord Percy deposit highlights the potential for the area to grow with the project. “While Pantoro’s phase-two drilling currently remains on the Scotia and Mainfield mining centres, areas like Maybell will continue to be advanced when the opportunity presents.” Core from hole LPDD21_082 at Lord Percy. Next steps  Lord Percy deposit lies adjacent to Maybell on a converging NNW structure with similar lode characteristics to the Maybell lodes. Lord Percy has not been mined previously. Additional drilling is planned prior to re-estimation of the Lord Percy mineral resource with a focus on conversion to ore reserve status. The Maybell mine was one of the first discovered in the Dundas/Norseman region in 1892 and is about 22 kilometres south of the Norseman township. Recent mining by a small syndicate produced around 15,000 tonnes of ore for 5,231 ounces from two levels around the old workings.
