Operating in mining friendly Nevada Led by resource sector professionals Global copper demand continues to rise What Bam Bam Resources Corp does:  Bam Bam Resources Corp (CSE:BBR) (OTCPINK:NPEZD) (FRA:4NPB) is focused on advancing its flagship Majuba Hill project in Nevada, USA, on which it has a lease deal, towards becoming a world-class copper deposit. The exploration focus on copper is as a direct result of the growing electric vehicle (EV) industry, the group has said, which uses the red metal throughout the motor and electrical system in every vehicle. Notably, Majuba Hill sits 120 miles northeast of the Tesla (NADSAQ:TSLA) Gigafactory. The project spans around 34 square kilometres (sq km) after the company increased its ground by 75% earlier this year. It is accessed via 23 miles of well-maintained dirt roads leading from US Interstate 80. Historic data from the project suggests an economically feasible oxide deposit near-surface with the potential for a larger sulphide formation below. The asset's previous production credentials are in no doubt. Between 1907 and 1960, Majuba Hill produced 2.8 million pounds of copper, 184,000 ounces of silver, over 885,000 pounds of lead and 5,800 ounces of lode gold. Bam Bam says the total potential for the project is between 350 and 500 million tons of sulfide/oxide mineralization at grades of 0.4% copper, 12 parts per million (ppm) silver and 0.175 parts per million (ppm) gold. How is it doing: 2021 has been a time of good progress for Bam Bam at Majuba Hill. On June 1, Bam Bam said it had begun an expanded soil sampling program at the copper project after previous sampling outlined numerous large copper, silver, zinc, molybdenum, and gold anomalies.  The company said a property-wide magnetic survey completed in 2021 extended and enlarged the alteration footprint at Majuba Hill, adding that the magnetic signature of the Tertiary Intrusive Assemblage and the larger Majuba Intrusive Complex are “both strongly coincident with the soil geochemical anomalies”.  Bam Bam also said a Deep Induced Polarization/Resistivity (IP) survey was underway to expand previous work completed by the company. At the end of May, Bam Bam announced that it hired Zonge International to carry out the extensive IP program at Majuba Hill to better understand the 'size and scope' of the deposit. The work will expand and extend existing IP coverage, such as a survey in 2007 and a 2018 in-fill program, which, the company said, have been "remarkably successful" in defining anomalies correlating to potential copper zones. In April 2021, Bam Bam revealed it had acquired an additional 1,200 acres of private mineral and surface rights, bringing the total Majuba Hill land package to 15.1 square miles, or 9,678 acres. The latest IP survey will extend the historic lines and provide wide coverage over the newly acquired private and public lands, noted the company. On May 14, Bam Bam had reported encouraging drill results from Majuba Hill which showed the potential for a large sulfide copper deposit below the known oxide mineralization.  The assays came from three core holes drilled at the asset in Pershing county, one of which stepped out 1,700 feet (518 meters) south from the oxide/enrichment zone to test a deep IP chargeability high.  A few days earlier Bam Bam had welcomed the findings of a property-wide drone survey undertaken over Majuba Hill earlier in the year, which showed the size of the potential copper deposit may be bigger than previously thought. The survey, also carried out by Zonge International, collected 196,532 readings on east-west lines spaced 150 meters apart and results were merged with the 2018 ground survey. Inflection points: A resource estimate for Majuba Hill More assays and start of drilling for 2021 Copper metal price moves What the boss says: "The large-scale potential for the Majuba project is shown by the geophysical signatures and the associated copper and silver geochemistry. The completion of the soil geochemistry, the Deep IP survey and the recently completed drone magnetic survey will allow us to better understand the size and scope of Majuba Hill and to target more accurately our drill programs," Bam Bam president and chief executive David Greenway said in the company's latest statement.
