Bargain-basement interest rates, sky-high prices: Is it a good time to buy a home in DFW?

On one hand, mortgage rates remain at historic lows. On the other hand, prices of both preowned and new homes have soared to historic highs in Dallas-Fort Worth and much of Texas and the United States. Bottom line—is it a good time to buy a home or not?
