Tempus Resources Ltd has received further high-grade gold results including bonanza-grade sub-sections from three diamond drill holes at its Elizabeth Gold Project in Canada. This is the second batch of assays that have come back from the SGS Canada Inc lab since being submitted in June. Results are from the remaining three holes from the assay batch from four holes submitted to the lab in the 2021 drilling program. High grades Strong intersections include: 6.60 metres at 8.40 g/t gold from 102.40 metres, including 1.10 metres at 46.3 g/t from 105.40 metres; 6.40 metres at 7.22 g/t from 88.6 metres, including 1.30 metres at 19.8 g/t from 90 metres and 0.50 metres at 3.15 g/t from 34.7 metres; and 1.80 metres at 6.37 g/t from 94.8 metres, including 0.5 metres at 20.5 g/t from 83.5 metres. Assays from the other hole of the batch, EZ-21-04, were reported previously and included ‘bonanza’ grades - 4 metres at 31.2 g/t from 122 metres, including 1.5 metres at 52.1 g/t from 123 metres and 0.50 metres at 72 g/t from 124 metres. “Outstanding results” “Exploration drilling at Elizabeth is generating outstanding results,” Tempus president and CEO Jason Bahnsen said. “Out of the 15 drill-holes completed in 2021 to date, all have hit vein structures with intersections ranging from half a metre to over six metres in thickness, including all down-plunge and strike extensional holes. “Assays for the first four holes are showing high grades of up to 70 g/t gold and excellent continuity to the vein structure at depth and along strike in both directions. “With these results, Tempus is on track to prepare a ‘maiden’ modern NI43-101/JORC mineral resource estimate for the Elizabeth by year-end.” Tempus has so far drilled 15 holes with multiple assays still to be delivered, including from 10 holes that are currently in the lab. The 15th hole is being logged, with samples to be sent in a subsequent batch. Maiden resource on track The first four holes drilled by Tempus this year aim to demonstrate grade and width continuity within the relatively shallow upper part of the northern ore-shoot of the SW Vein. These holes have been designed to address two aims: Confirm and upgrade the geological confidence of zones included in the historical resource; and Extend the known mineralisation along strike and down plunge. The first batch of four 2021 holes address the first aim well, while the majority of 2020-2021 drill holes address the second aim. Drilling focus Exploration drilling for the Elizabeth Gold Project is largely focused on the SW Vein, which hosted approximately 70% of the historic inferred resource of 206,139 ounces of gold (522,843 tonnes at 12.26 g/t gold – SRK 2009). Tempus has completed approximately 6,000 metres of 12,000 metres of new drilling at Elizabeth as part of its Phase 1 program. About Elizabeth The Elizabeth Gold Project is Tempus’ flagship project. This 115 square kilometre project is a relatively underexplored high-grade mesothermal gold project with mineralisation presenting itself in vein sets that range in true width from 1 to 6.5 metres. The high-grade quartz veins encountered in the drilling at Elizabeth show close geological similarities to the Bralorne-Pioneer mesothermal vein system (around 30 kilometres away), which was mined to a depth of about 2,000 metres and produced more than 4 million ounces of gold over more than 70 years from 1900.
