The trial for Sarah Palin's defamation lawsuit against The New York Times might be delayed after she tested positive for Covid just as proceedings were to begin Monday. U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff ordered a PCR test to be taken at 10:15 a.m. that would provide a 15-minute result. That is expected to inform whether the trial will continue.
