Smith Engineering acquired by Evoqua Water Technologies

Evoqua Water Technologies is buying Smith Engineering Inc., a deal that will enhance its water treatment capabilities and extend its footprint. Terms weren’t disclosed. The transaction is expected to close by the end of September, fourth quarter of Pittsburgh-based Evoqua’s 2022 fiscal year. Smith, based in Chaska, Minnesota, designs, manufactures and services custom high-purity water treatment equipment.
