Rihanna Criticised Following Adoption Of Islamic Hadith

It has been branded offensive...

*Rihanna* is facing criticism following the use of an Islamic hadith in her Fenty runway show.

The singer has sculpted music as part of the show, and one aspect has come in for ferocious criticism from Muslims around the world.

When the rapper Rico Nasty appears on the runway, a sped up version of an Islamic hadith is used, alongside new music.

The move has been branded sacrilegious and offensive by some in the Islamic community, with the hadith being a record of the words, actions, and other approved measures of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

As many online commentators have pointed out, this isn't the first time Rihanna has faced condemnation from the Islamic community - in 2013 she posed outside of a mosque in Abu Dhabi, and was asked to leave, while he fenty line was condemned after incorrectly including a hajib.

Rihanna has yet to comment on the latest row.
