Met Gala 2024 theme unveiled

The theme for the next Met Gala has been revealed as "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion." The exhibit will showcase treasured garments from the Costume Institute's collection, many of which are rarely seen due to their fragility. Curator Andrew Bolton aims to bring the garments to life by engaging the senses of museum-goers, including sight, smell, and sound. The show will be organized around the themes of land, sea, and sky, with a focus on the natural world. The exhibit will run from May 10 to September 2, 2024.
