Ex-Stasi officer faces charges in 1974 Berlin border killing

An 80-year-old ex-employee of the former East German secret police has been charged with murdering Czeslaw Kukuczka, a Polish man who attempted to flee to West Berlin. He could face a life sentence if convicted.
