Leading doctor warns of 'inevitable' AFL injury increase

Dr Peter Brukner, a former team doctor for the Australian cricket team, Liverpool FC and a number of AFL clubs, also said he was not surprised by data from German soccer league the Bundesliga, which showed the rate of injuries more than tripled over their first matchday since the coronavirus pause.
