There's action on abortion policy in rulings, legislatures, and campaigns for candidates and ballot measures on the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The 1973 ruling established the right to abortion across the U.S. But things have been in flux since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned it in 2022. Measures to protect abortion access will be on the ballots this year in at least two states — and are under consideration in a dozen more.
