Vicky Kaushal will collaborate with Karan Johar for the upcoming mega-budget period drama Takht. The film traces the relationship between Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and his brother Dara Shukoh, with Ranveer Singh playing the former while Vicky will play Aurangzeb. The film also features Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
