Covid-19: Gujarat adds 1,272 new cases, 17 deaths in 24 hrs

The new cases included 257 from Surat, 169 from Ahmedabad, 128 from Vadodara, 119 from Rajkot, and 106 from Jamnagar. With the update, Vadodara's total cases crossed 8,000 at 8,069. The cumulative cases for Ahmedabad and Surat are 31,431 and 20,326 respectively.
