Congress spokesperson Khushbu Sundar quits party, set to join BJP

Putting an end to the month-long rumours that she was joining the BJP, actor Khushbu resigned from the Congress party and conveyed the same to party president Sonia Gandhi. Khushbu confirmed to TOI that she is joining the BJP. Khushbu, in her resignation letter, thanked Sonia for the opportunity given to her to serve the nation as the national spokesperson of the party.
