1st in India: Twitter tags BJP IT cell chief’s tweet as ‘manipulated media’

Twitter has tagged a tweet by BJP’s IT cell head Amit Malviya as “manipulated media”. According to Twitter, it applies this label to tweets that “result in confusion or misunderstanding or suggests a deliberate intent to deceive people about the nature or origin of the content, for example by falsely claiming that it depicts reality”.
