PLA soldier, apprehended by Indian Army, returns to China

The PLA soldier, who had been apprehended by Indian troops on January 8 in eastern Ladakh, was handed back to China at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on Monday. In a statement Saturday, the Army said the “PLA soldier had transgressed across the LAC and was taken into custody by Indian troops” deployed in the area.
