Globalising a protest isn’t a crime: Muluk in bail petition

Simply talking to people from outside India to “internationalise” a protest can’t be criminalised, climate activist Shantanu Muluk has argued in his anticipatory bail plea to a Delhi court. Muluk, one of the accused in the toolkit case, said he had no intent — political or religious — other than to express sympathy for the farmers in their campaign to get the new agri-marketing laws repealed.
