WHO accepts Bharat Biotech's Expression of Interest for Covaxin emergency use listing

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has accepted Bharat Biotech’s expression of interest (EoI) for the emergency use listing (EUL) of India's first indigenously developed Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin after the company provided the additional data that was sought by the global body. The pharmaceutical company's pre-submission meeting with WHO regarding the approval of its Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin has been scheduled for 23 June, the document read.
