Capital punishment for the Sabarmati river in Gujarat

While Ahmedabad sucks the life out of the Sabarmati at Vasna-Narol bridge by pumping millions of litres of untreated toxic concoction of city’s domestic and industrial effluents into the river, Gujarat’s state capital and its bureaucratic hub begins choking the river upstream with its garbage dump.
