India reports 18,870 new Covid-19 cases and 378 deaths in 24 hours

India has reported 18,870 new Covid-19 cases, 0.4% higher than yesterday and 378 deaths in a span of 24 hours, the Union health ministry said on Wednesday. The current recovery rate is 97.83%, highest since March 2020 it stated.
