India reports 12,830 new Covid cases and 446 deaths; active cases lowest in 247 days

India has reported 12,830 new cases of Covid-19 and 446 deaths in the last 24 hours, a release issued by the Union health ministry on Sunday stated. India's Active caseload at present stands at 1,59,272, the lowest in 247 days. The recovery rate in the country currently stands at 98.20%.
