India reports 16,156 new Covid-19 cases and 733 deaths in 24 hours

India on Thursday reported 16,156 daily new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the country's case tally to 3,42,31,809, the Union health ministry said. The death toll due to Covid-19 rose to 4,56,386 with 733 people succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.
