West Bengal: Bagdogra airport shut for 7.5 hours after crack seen in runway

The Bagdogra airport was closed for operations for seven-and-a-half hours on Tuesday owing to a crack in the runway, forcing seven flights to be diverted to Kolkata and three, both to and from the airport, to be cancelled.
