Centre asks states to take precautions amid record-breaking heat

Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written to states regarding rising temperature and intense heatwave across the country, requesting them to "disseminate the guideline document 'National Action Plan on Heat-Related Illnesses' to all districts for effective management".
