Kerala rain: Red alert in 5 districts, NDRF teams deployed

The state is on high alert for extremely heavy rainfall in five districts on Monday, for the third consecutive day as pre-monsoon rainfall lashed across Kerala leaving several places inundated. The IMD issued warning of advancement of the southwest monsoon into the Andaman Sea and more rainfall accompanied by squally weather in coming days.
