India reports 6,093 new Covid-19 cases, 31 deaths in the last 24 hours

With a decline of 706 cases from the previous day, India's active caseload went down to 49,636, according to the Union health ministry data on Friday morning. The 31 new fatalities include six from Maharashtra, three each from Delhi and Karnataka along with 13 deaths reconciled by Kerala.
