3,947 new Covid-19 cases in India in 24 hours; active caseload dips below 40k mark

India has reported 3,947 fresh cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours, taking the country's case tally 4,45,87,307, data released by the government on Friday stated. The country has also recorded 18 deaths, including nine fatalities reconciled by Kerala. India's active caseload has dipped below the 40,000 mark, and stands at 39,583 now.
