India reports 5,554 Covid-19 cases and 18 deaths in last 24 hours

With a decline of 786 cases from the previous day, India's active caseload went down to 48,850, according to the Union health ministry data on Saturday morning. The 18 new fatalities include four each from Delhi and Maharashtra, two from Haryana and two reconciled by Kerala.
