India reports 5,664 Covid-19 cases and 35 deaths in last 24 hours

With an increase of 1,074 cases from the previous day, India's active caseload shot up to 47,922 from 46,848, according to the Union health ministry data on Sunday morning. The 35 new fatalities include three from Maharashtra, two from Chhattisgarh along with 21 reconciled by Kerala.
