Deepak Boxer's passport: UP cop suspended for wrong police verification

Deepak 'Boxer', one of the most wanted fugitives in the country who was brought to India from Mexico by Delhi police on Wednesday, has been booked in UP's Moradabad in connection with a fake passport case. UP police constable, Ajit Singh, has also been suspended for conducting wrong police verification of the gangster's credentials in 2022 which led to the issuance of the passport.
