Over 1,700 booked in Kanpur for offering Eid namaz on road

The police have registered FIRs against more than 1,700 unknown persons at three police stations for offering Eid namaz on the road. Police have alleged that despite the ban, namaz was offered on the road outside Jajmau Eidgah, Babupurwa Eidgah and Badi Eidgah in Benajhabar in the city on April 22.
