Amartya Sen moves court against Visva-Bharati's eviction order

Nobel laureate Amartya Sen has moved the Birbhum district court challenging Visva-Bharati’s April 19 order asking him to vacate 13 decimals of “encroached” land within his 1. 38-acre ancestral property, Pratichi, by May 6 or face forceful eviction.
