NRC petitioner files defamation suit against ex-CJI Ranjan Gogoi

Abhijit Sharma, who pleaded for updating of Assam’s National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the Supreme Court, has filed a defamation suit against former CJI and Rajya Sabha MP, Ranjan Gogoi, for allegedly maligning his image in his autobiography, Justice For The Judge, in a local court here.
