12-year-old Sitamarhi boy killed for plucking litchis

A 12-year-old boy was badly beaten up before being killed by allegedly drowning him in a local pond in Sitamarhi just for plucking a few ripe litchis from a tree, sending shock waves in the area. Strangely, the litchis are available for hardly Rs100-Rs150/kg in the open market right now.
